With the painting I now call "Revolution 10", I believe the revolution in my art has turned from casual, to real. (Yes, this painting was called "Intimidation.") At last I am entering the studio with confidence. I technically am able to manipulate with an ability to solve the image to satisfactorily reflect my expressive intention. This week I will work on "Revolution 10", moving it toward the work which will, next week, be submitted to the AVA Gallery Juried Summer Exhibition. The drawings too are taking on consistent substantiality. Three drawings are shown today, two from yesterday, and one from two days ago (06/09/2012). As with "Revolution 10", they are consistent, expressive solutions, albeit imperfect. The imperfection of my work will drive me forever toward better resolutions. Knowledge is buried within, and making art is the act of unearthing it, bit by bit, day by day—unendingly.
