I question the congruity of the painting. The revisit of the drawing was successful.
The girl in the painting looks more like classical painting than me finding the final solution. Granted, it is better than its previous version; the overall tone works better, but the shape of her face, and its traditional look, is not right for this painting. This painting is not solved.

I did not get into the studio yesterday, so today's blog post exhibits work from two days ago. I truly required a day away from making art. I was dazed and confused. I needed time to reassemble my way of seeing and being. You can see my confusion in the painting, but not in the drawing. The drawing is better than its previous version, while the painting is somewhat better, but also more unbalanced.
